Anime fans today I start reviewing a genre / medium that i've never reviewed and since I won't be able to get away with posting this review in a lot of places the only place you'll see this review is on Twitter and maybe Tumblr. Truth be told i've been thinking of reviewing a hentai for a long time but it's only now that i've decided to actually do it hence the new blog and so here is my review of the hentai with so many titles it'll drive you crazy Hachishaku Hachiwa Keraku Meguri Igyou Kaikitan The Animation.
The plot of this hentai is a man is walking home in the rain and is then approached by a Taxi and when inside both him and the taxi driver start exchanging stories. Yeah there really isn't much in terms of actual plot it's basically an anthology wrapped around a few s*x scenes but the way I see is it's more plot then what you get in most hentai but at the same time I would have liked it if there was a little more story to go on.
Starring in this hentai is Akimoto Nerine as Hachishaku-sama and Namikaze Tateru as Shounen and thus ends the shortest cast list i've ever had to do because there the only two listed actors. I'm not even kidding i've written hundreds if not thousands of reviews and i've never had to writer a cast this short it's in all honesty kind of refreshing and it makes it really easy for me since all I have to do is type in two sets of names.
In terms of what I thought about the acting it was very passable at best and that's perhaps the best thing I can say about it. It's not bad the actors are clearly trying their best but it's clear to me that the script is giving them nothing to work with and that really does hurt the performances at least in my opinion it does since an actor can only do so much with the script that's given to them and so when there's nothing on the script in terms of character that mean's that the performance is going to suffer badly.
The animation was done by Pink Pineapple who have worked on a lot of hentai and when I say alot I really do mean it. In terms of what I thought about the animation it was alot better then what I thought it was going to be going into this hentai I honestly thought that the animation was going to be pretty bad but it's actually not that bad there's clear effort thrown in to the animation and it really does show with each scene nearly leaping of the screen.
This is based of the manga by Jyoka which lasted eight chapters and while I don't know if this hentai follows the story of the manga at all. I am interested in checking out the manga just based of this series alone which is the main purpose of any anime adaptation to drive up the sales of the manga hell even as we speak i'm checking to see where I can read the manga just so I can bring you guys a possible review of it in the near future.
This hentai only lasted two episodes technically three but the third episode basically acts as an OVA and episode two basically wraps things up. I don't know why they chose to wrap things up with episode two if they already had a third episode in the can that doesn't make sense to me it would have made more sense to end the story with the third episode or just switch the episodes around since then the twist reveal would have made more sense.
Now this is listed as a horror and that does mean that we have to talk about the scares that are to be found in this hentai. In short there are no scares to be found or at least nothing that I found to be scary all there was was a character making a scared face and that was it however there was oddly alot of gore in this hentai which is something that i'd never thought i'd say in a million years and while that was indeed creepy that's all it was it wasn't scary I wasn't scared by it just creeped out a little by it and that was it.
The hentai did also kind of have a mystery of who the man in the taxi was and this is where making the second episode the third one would have worked. Since it would have allowed you to keep on guessing on who this person is and what their relation is to the main character if he knows him at all but they reveal who he is at the end of the second episode and so there's no need to see the third because the mystery aspect is gone now.
As to be expected there are alot of s*x scenes to be found in this hentai and if your a fan of big boobs then your in look. Since there on show alot and they are glorious to see hell the s*x scenes aren't even that painful to see at least in my opinion they are in fact the best part of the show which is to be expected given that this is hentai but it is still something that I felt was worth pointing out for you all.
Overall this hentai wasn't that bad but that's also the problem it's not that good either it gave me everything I wanted with nothing new added to the mix. I'm new to reviewing hentai but im going to make an effort to review more of them both animated and not but even I could tell that this was average at best and so it gets a 5 out of 10 from me and in regards to where else you can find this review you can also find it on NewTumbl.com because let's face it this would get taken off of Tumblr straight away.
